Timeline

1. Please don't color or shave your hair.
2. Please stop having green tea 7 days prior to your planned procedure day.
3. Please avoid or stop anticoagulants or blood thinner medication like Aspirin, clopilet, Warfarin etc.
4. Please stop all multivitamins or any other medications 7 days prior to your planned procedure.
5. Please continue with the medication for Diabetes, hypertension, epilepsy etc. even on the day of surgery.
6. In case of any medical condition like fever etc please contact your trichologist asap.

Day 1

After the procedure make sure to spray the recipient site with a Normal saline solution every 30 minutes and leave the bandaged donor site alone.

Week 1

Continue spraying the recipient site and start washing the donor site only with shampoo. Make sure that water doesn’t fall on the recipient site .Start applying ointment on the donor area for next two weeks.

Week 2

Make sure to wash your scalp everyday , once daily with shampoo. Use gentle massage movements with your finger to cleanse your scalp. Do not apply pressure or use fingernails to cleanse your scalp.

Week 2 - 8

Continue to wash the scalp with shampoo for 8 weeks.

After Week 8

Wash the scalp 3 times weekly with a shampoo containing DHT blockers.

After 6 months

After 6 months , 60% of the transplanted hairs would have grown and you can see visible results of the procedure.

After 1 Year

After one year of the procedure you can see the full results of your hair transplantation.
